Bookish Buys - May 2018

Bookish buys - May 2018

Woohoo! Beginning of the month means payday, time to splurge and treat yourself, or someone else if you're feeling generous. I've pulled together some of my favourite book-related items that I've seen over the last couple of weeks and put them all in one place for you. None of these items are paid listings, they're simply items I genuinely I like.

I hope you take a fancy to them as much as I have.

These sloth bookends are simply the cutest. I don't care if they're aimed at kids, pack a few of your favourite books between these and who could help but smile?

Not only does this 10-set make-up brush set and case look amazing but they're also vegan-friendly. There's a different Mean Girl movie quote on each brush handle and the case/burn book can also be used as a handbag.

I own far too many t-shirts from Teefury and this is another design that's going to go on my wishlist. Teefury sells a wealth of clothing in various styles for men, women and kids based on geeky pop culture. This design features some of the classic gothic greats such as Mary Shelley and Edgar Allan Poe. They're based in the USA but shipping is very affordable, it just takes a bit longer, but as you can see, it's worth it.

I've got a ton of Punky Pins currently adorning my jacket and I love them all. Whether it's pop culture, cute licenses, ethical issues or books in general, they'll have a pin for you. Join their mailing list at the bottom of the homepage if you like their items as they're great at sending out deals, discounts and new drop alerts.

Anyone that knows me, knows I'm a bit of a goth at heart and have a love of everything witchy so this journal really appeals. Excuse the swears but it is what it is. Killstar produces a number of other designs including a book of spells that is also brilliant. Perfect for adding some goth to your work desk.

Where the Wild Things Are is one of my favourite picture books and this tote featuring one of the stunning illustrations is officially tote bag royalty. If you're looking for the perfect gift for a book lover, then this is up there with the best.

The novel The Princess Bride is a modern classic and the movie is equally wonderful. Don't worry that these cards will be coming from the US, Loot Vault does very reasonable shipping rates to the UK and always sends you a discount code for your next purchase with every order, perfect!

There you have it, my first every bookish buy post. I'm planning on this being a monthly post so keep your eyes peeled and feel free to share your favourite bookish treats in the comments below.
